Stack is a table light designed for Gantri, a 3D print manufacturing brand based in San Francisco. Inspired by childhood building blocks, the design reimagines the familiar archetype of a lamp through a playful composition of simple geometric forms. The shade, stem, and base are expressed as distinct soft blocks stacked vertically to create an iconic silhouette.

Stack embraces the constraints of 3D printing by fitting each block within print bed size limitations, avoiding support structures, and minimizing the number of assembly parts. Its simple form with wide range of color options allow diverse expressions. The last detail is the light diffuser design beneath the shade, taken from the world of 3D printing that became a playful hint at how the light is made.
